About Winegraph

Winegraph is an independent journal that documents wine, people and places.

Wine is more than a drink.

It is a reflection of the land, the people who cultivate it, the food that surrounds it, and the culture that has grown alongside it for generations.

Through documentary filmmaking, journalism and photography, Winegraph explores these stories from Japan and around the world.

Rather than reviewing wines, Winegraph seeks to document the people behind them—the winemakers, sommeliers, chefs, farmers and communities whose passion gives each bottle its meaning.

Every article, photograph and film begins with the same question:

What story does this place have to tell?

About NORIZO

NORIZO is a Winegrapher, documentary filmmaker and regional brand producer based in Japan.

As Director of NihonWine.jp, he has travelled throughout Japan documenting wineries, interviewing producers, sommeliers and chefs, while collaborating with local governments and businesses to create new regional value through food, wine and storytelling.

His work has expanded beyond Japanese wine to explore wine culture around the world, always with the same belief:

Every place has a story. Wine simply helps us discover it.

Winegraphは、

ワインを通して、人・土地・文化を記録するメディアです。

ワインは、単なる飲み物ではありません。

一本のワインには、その土地の風土、生産者の想い、料理や歴史、そして地域の文化が詰まっています。

Winegraphでは、日本をはじめ世界各地を訪れながら、

ワインに関わる人々、その土地、その文化を、文章・写真・映像を通して記録しています。

紹介したいのは、ワインそのものではありません。

そのワインが生まれた背景にある物語です。

一本のワインから、

一つの地域を知る。

一人の生産者を知る。

そして、その土地へ行きたくなる。

そんなきっかけを届けることが、

Winegraphの役割です。

NORIZOについて

NORIZOは、Winegrapher、ドキュメンタリー映画監督、地域ブランドプロデューサー。

日本ワイン専門メディア「日本ワイン.jp」のディレクターとして全国のワイナリーを取材し、生産者やソムリエ、料理人へのインタビューを重ねてきました。

現在は、日本国内だけでなく海外へも活動を広げ、ワインを切り口に、人・食・地域文化を伝えるプロジェクトに取り組んでいます。

私が記録したいのは、ワインではなく、

ワインの向こう側にある物語。

それが、Winegraphです。
